Barcelona face a trip to Mallorca later today as they attempt to continue their good form in La Liga, but may be forced to make a number of changes to the starting XI.
Xavi will have to make full use of his squad in the coming weeks, as Barcelona also face Sevilla on Friday in La Liga before a trip to Porto next week in the Champions League.
With Frenkie De Jong now injured, he will already be forced into one change, and he could rotate a number of players for the game against Mallorca, who are 16th in La Liga.
Inigo Martinez could now be set to make his first start for the club following his arrival in the summer, whilst youngsters Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal could return to the starting XI after being benched for the comeback victory against Celta Vigo.
Rotation will be key as Barcelona look to consolidate their spot at the top of La Liga, and if they can navigate the next two fixtures, they will be in a very good position ahead of the international break.
Who could start against Mallorca?
New signings Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix will likely keep their spots in the starting XI, but changes can be made elsewhere.
Jules Kounde has played 90 minutes in nearly every match this season, and one of him or Andreas Christensen could be rested, with Martinez coming in for his first start. Given that Kounde could do with a rest, the Frenchman could drop out of the lineup for today.

Balde could come back in for Alonso to offer more attacking threat, whilst Gavi looks set to come in for the injured Frenkie De Jong.
Yamal, who has been described as “special” by De Jong, could be in line for a start after being benched for Ferran Torres and Raphinha in the last few games. Whilst it may be harsh to drop Torres given his form, he could then be in line to start against Sevilla on Friday.
Barcelona predicted XI vs Mallorca: Ter Stegen; Joao Cancelo, Inigo Martinez, Andreas Christensen, Alejandro Balde; Oriol Romeu, Ilkay Gundogan, Gavi; Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Joao Felix.
