New Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is already facing some key squad dilemmas ahead of his first transfer window with the club.
The German has now arrived to replace club legend Xavi in controversial circumstances, but Flick arrives as a manager with winning pedigree from his days at Bayern Munich.
Barcelona still find themselves in a difficult financial situation, and strengthening the squad will not be easy, whilst registering the players they have on the books may come with their own complications.
Several players need to be registered, and this could force the exit of a player who only joined the club last summer.
Barcelona have to choose between Eric Garcia and Inigo Martinez
A report from MARCA has now revealed that Inigo Martinez and Vitor Roque are still yet to be registered for next season.
With Flick coming in, Martinez, who joined from Athletic Bilbao under Xavi last year, could be in the firing line.
Barcelona already have Ronald Araujo, Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen and Pau Cubarsi at centre-back, and adding both Martinez, as well as Eric Garcia, who spent the season on loan at Girona, would be excessive.
This therefore means that only one of Garcia or Martinez can realistically be kept and registered at the club, and Flick now has a decision to make.
Barcelona should prioritise Eric Garcia over Inigo Martinez

Garcia did struggle under Xavi, but he enjoyed an outstanding season on loan at Girona, in which he made 31 appearances, scoring a surprising five goals.
The Spaniard regained his confidence and showed his quality as a ball-playing centre-back, and at 23 he still has room to improve.
Martinez meanwhile has been fairly underwhelming since he joined last year. The 33-year-old made 13 starts in La Liga, and is not at the level he has previously shown in his prime years.
The ideal move in the short and long term would be for Flick to choose Garcia, as the younger option in better form. However, there may be more transfer interest in Garcia, and Barcelona may have to sell the better option to boost their own finances.
